Welcome to my webpage.
In these challenging times, and to promote social distancing, I am temporarily changing the way I would usually work with you and will be offering sessions through online video consultation, or by telephone.
It is important to me that in these difficult times, that clients new and old, feel able to access counselling support, so although my hourly rate remains advertised on the website, please do contact me to discuss prices and options.
Please continue to scroll down to find out more about what I do, and my working methods.
About me, and locations
My name is Teresa Raven and I have been working as a qualified counsellor since 2007. I am based in Bedfordshire in Leighton Buzzard and in Eaton Bray, near Dunstable. I also offer sessions via video and telephone which are available on request after an initial appointment.

You can find me on the BACP voluntary register by following the link below.
My registered and accredited status with the BACP means that I work according to the BACP’s ethical framework, holding your best interests in mind.
I have extensive experience counselling across a range of age groups. I work integratvely using psychodynamic, person-centred and Compassion Focused Therapy. I also use Mindfulness. I am trained in and use Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR) which is a treatment for trauma.
I can help you with a range of personal issues including the following:

Long and short term counselling is available, and I recommend that we discuss this on the first appointment.
Sessions can be booked weekly, or in blocks.
Single sessions for psycho-education are also available.
